Backapp A/S considers environmental protection to be an important part of our business and we make it a part of the entire value chain of the product. Backapp A/S uses recycled and recyclable material in all of its products and focus on the choice of material and its composition.
The chairs are designed for a long life span with different components that can be easily replaced. At the end of the chair’s life, every component can be easily taken apart into simple material fractions for recycling. All of the large plastic parts are labelled according to ISO 11469.
Comments: Over 90% of the parts that are used in the Backapp Smart are produced locally in Scandinavia.
